The Glory Of A Princess Is On The Inside (Psalms 45:14)
I think this idea is beautiful, and seemingly paradoxical. When one thinks of a princess one thinks of a crown, royal attire, a poised composure. The focus is not so much on the inside. But at the same time, we don’t think of princesses dressing in immodest clothing and going to bar parties- this is not befitting of a princess. So in a sense, her outside reflects an inner confidence, a well-developed character. (Age 21)
And what would you say in regards to ‘regular’ women who are not titles “princess”? Do they have this ability? Quality? Is the inside the only thing that makes us royal? Is the outer dress/garb/crown what gives the title “Princess”?
Leaving the literal idea of princess behind, I guess everyone has the capability of dressing/acting like a princess. Its just a question of whether you want to; whether it make sense in your situation. I would say it is the inside and outside. If someone was an incredibly “royal” person on the inside but dressed like a hobo, this could compromise things :)

It means people won’t view them as so royal, that image would be tainted by the outside appearance. and yes, I think being taken seriously has what to do with how you dress- at least at first glance. Once we get to know a person, we may feel differently. But certainly in a case where two people don’t know each other well, dress makes an impression.
